🛎️Sofitel London St James is located at 6 Waterloo Place in the heart of West London, just steps away from the famous Piccadilly Circus and St James's Park. The surrounding area is well-connected, with subway and bus stations within walking distance. In this bustling area, we were lucky to stay at this hotel that maintains a high standard of service. 🚨The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of London. The hotel building is full of history and is a Grade II listed building. The decor is a perfect blend of traditional English design and modern French flair. The facilities are very complete, with a restaurant, bar, spa, and gym. The check-in experience was great, with friendly and attentive staff, adding a lot of joy to the start of our trip. 🛏️We stayed in a deluxe room, which was spacious and comfortable, and large by London standards. The bed was particularly soft and comfortable, and we had a good night's sleep every night. The bathroom was well-designed and very convenient to use at night. Although we didn't use the gym, the equipment looked very well-equipped, and fitness enthusiasts would love it. 🏙️The hotel's location is also a highlight, with nearby attractions within walking distance. Piccadilly Circus is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, and in the other direction is the tranquil St James's Park. There are also many dining options nearby, such as The Park Room and TwoRuba Bar, so foodies won't be disappointed. 🕙Of course, there are some drawbacks to be aware of. For example, the room key was always a problem during our stay, and we always needed staff to help us open the door, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the shower room was a bit small, which might not be convenient for tall people. In addition, the bed was a bit hard, which might not be comfortable for those who prefer a soft bed. Overall, Sofitel London St James excels in service and location, and it was a very pleasant stay in London.
