šŸ“Must-Visit Museums in London | Time-Saving Highlights You Canā€™t Miss!

#traveldiaries šŸ’Ž V&A Museum: 3h As someone whoā€™s visited the V&A three times, Iā€™m qualified to recommend it! Hereā€™s why: Stunning Aesthetics: From the entrance, the colors, to the garden, every corner is Instagram-worthy! Perfect for photo lovers and those who enjoy buying museum merch. Sculpture Hall is a Must-See: The Cast Court on the ground floor ā€“ even though theyā€™re replicas, the proportions are so grand that the giant David statue feels like a god descending! Youā€™ll definitely have a ā€œwowā€ moment. Jewelry Room is Pure Magic: The second floorā€™s jewelry section will stop you in your tracks. Sapphires and emeralds twinkle like the universe is winking at you! āœØ Diverse Special Exhibits: From home designs during design week to backstage videos from 200 years of performing arts (including behind-the-scenes looks at wigs from The Crown), itā€™s definitely worth checking out. Tip: You can skip the non-European section on the first floor if youā€™re short on time and focus on the highlights! šŸ’Ž British Museum: 3h Hereā€™s how to get the most out of it: Must-see sections on the ground floor: China, Asia, and Egypt ā€“ absolute treasures! The European section feels a bit flat in comparison, more focused on historical knowledge. You can skip most of the second floor if you're short on time. šŸ’Ž Tate Modern: 1.5h Pop Art is super fun, and thereā€™s a free 45-minute guided tour at the top of every hour. Highly recommend joining to get deeper insights into the curation. Personally, I found it more interesting than the Pompidou in Paris ā€“ the artworks here are much more expressive and thought-provoking! šŸ’Ž Wallace Collection: 2h A hidden gem! Free guided tours from 2:30-3:30 PM (first-come, first-served at the front desk). Theyā€™ve got quirky treasures like what looks like an armillary sphere, but itā€™s actually a storage device for quill pens ā€“ one part opens to reveal ink, the other part opens for sand to dry the ink faster! šŸ’Ž National Gallery: 1.5h The layout is a bit chaotic, and while there are plenty of artworks, none stood out to me as memorable (personal opinion!). šŸ’Ž Natural History Museum? Amazing exterior! If youā€™re into natural history, go for it ā€“ but itā€™s not really my thing. #travelchecklist #uktrip #travellerswonderland #100waysoftravel #localguides #familytrip #ę—…č”Œēµę„Ÿ #博ē‰©é¦†

Tate Modern is a treasured place of photography. Here collects countless art works of maters. They are classified into four types of history - memory - society, naked figure - action - body, scenery - material - environment, and still life - entity - real life. The building of Tate Modern itself is also an art work.
