From 10th to 19th November, discover the best jazz line-up from every corner of the world across London, with the biggest celebration of jazz ever held through a series of themed events including Icons, Homegrown, Beyond Margins, Voices, New Creations, Global Roots and Jazz Visionaries. Unique voices will be spotlighted by orchestras, alternative country singer songwriters, reggae singers, jazz vocalists, the UK’s most influential jazz hits, global jazz icons, West End and Broadway stars, rising soul singers and legendary female singers. 🎵Jazz music feast EFG London Jazz Festival, the biggest jazz celebration in London's history! A carnival for jazz musicians and jazz lovers, one of the best jazz festivals in the world! It’s the 30th anniversary! A ten-day music feast! 🎥Commemorative short film In addition to the wonderful music activities, the official also specially shot a commemorative short film, telling the wonderful people and music at the festival since its establishment in 1992. The world's leading jazz will occupy major iconic venues in London, including the Barbican and South Bank Centre, as well as numerous jazz clubs and independent venues from Cafe Oto to King's Place, exploring music from all corners of the world, and bringing together cross-generational artists from all over the country, artists, composers and orchestras, all with wonderful identities. Tradition and innovation collide to create amazing fireworks and create a unique new collaboration. Orchestras are also innovatively added to the performances. Cross-border music collaborations are common, showcasing the outstanding musical talents cultivated in the UK and laying the foundation for the next festival. 🅰️Virtual Exhibition In addition to the rich musical offerings, the festival also features a virtual exhibition titled “4/4” by renowned photographer Created by George Nelson, it tells the stories behind four festival performances in the form of an online exhibition. 1️⃣African Manifest The “Global and Roots” series of exciting events, Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Orchestra, Afla Sackey + Afrik Bawatu and Falle Nioke, brought a celebration of West African music at the Clore Ballroom, exploring unique music from all corners of the world, with passionate drums and jumping notes expressing unique regional culture and human emotions 2️⃣“4-4 for the Festival” virtual exhibition Four true stories selected from 8 million stories at the 2021 London Jazz Festival! “T” Stands for Tony, Xhosa & Joe & Jas & Chums*, It’s Time, together through the lens of famous photographer George Nelson, we enter the creative world of jazz lovers 3️⃣ London Jazz Club A wonderful space for friends who love jazz culture is here! Focus on unique sounds, and have a carnival for music fans in London jazz clubs, unique tapestries of jazz elements, creative spaces such as sound churches and cafes, change to a comfortable way, open the door of the London Jazz Festival, and establish a unique cooperation of culture, creativity and community 4️⃣ Free performances and TV broadcasts The Festival has partnered with the Channel to bring the music to life through radio and digital technology, reaching a huge national and international audience. Friends can watch the sound of jazz through "J to Z", the BBC Concert Orchestra program is also broadcast on BBC Radio 3, the BBC Young Jazz Musician Finale will be broadcast on BBC 4, and there will also be a series of free pop-up performances across the borough to celebrate jazz and culture.
