[Spain] Bodegas Franco Españolas

Logroño, the capital of the Rioja region and a city of wine and fine food, holds a grape harvest festival for about a week every autumn. Rioja is famous in Japan as a red wine producing region. There are also many bodegas (wineries), the largest of which is Bodegas Franco Españolas. Advance reservations are required, but you can enjoy a tour of the winery with tasting. I went there without a reservation, and they said they had openings from 6pm on that day. The sun sets after 8pm at the end of September, the beginning of autumn, so it was still light out, but I gave up because I had some time to spare.
