Liuzhou Trip: An Industrial Exploration Starting from Manfei Hotel, Liunan Wanda And my first stop was Manfei Hotel, Liunan Wanda Plaza, Liuzhou, which felt like a warm home to me in this city. The hotel boasts an excellent location, surrounded by the bustling Liuzhou Wanda Plaza, offering a wide array of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Stepping into the room, the modern and minimalist decor was striking, with every detail exuding sophistication and comfort. The soft bedding, clean and tidy bathroom facilities, and smart home devices allowed me to fully enjoy comfort and relaxation during my tiring journey. In the evening, standing by the window, admiring the city's brilliant lights and feeling the gentle breeze, the day's fatigue instantly dissipated. After recharging at the hotel, I headed to the Liuzhou Industrial Museum, an industrial culture journey through time. The Liuzhou Industrial Museum is located at No. 220 Liudong Road, Yufeng District, which was once the old factory building of Liuzhou No. 3 Cotton Mill. As soon as I stepped into the museum, the industrial-style architecture and vintage red brick factory buildings immediately caught my eye, as if pulling me back to those passionate years. The park's design is based on a red theme, symbolizing "recalling the fiery era of passion." The museum's diverse exhibits gave me a deeper understanding of Liuzhou's industrial development. In the "Liuzhou Industrial History Hall," I saw over 6,000 pieces (sets) of industrial relics, including large, medium, and small industrial equipment and products used and produced in Liuzhou since 1902. From Guangxi's first charcoal-powered car to various old machine tools and textile equipment, they bear witness to the glorious journey of Liuzhou's industry, from nothing to something, from small to large, and from weak to strong. Those mottled machines and yellowed photographs seemed to tell stories of the older generation of Liuzhou people's arduous struggle, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The "Liuzhou Enterprise Showcase Hall" displayed the prowess of famous enterprises in various fields in Liuzhou, showing me the current vigorous development and innovative vitality of Liuzhou's industry. The "Liuzhou Ecological Livable Hall" informed me about Liuzhou's emphasis on and governance of the ecological environment during its industrial development, revealing the city's efforts to achieve the dream of ecological industry and a livable city. In addition to the indoor exhibition halls, the steam locomotives, diesel locomotives, large loaders, and other exhibits in the outdoor area were also awe-inspiring. They are iconic symbols of the industrial era, attracting many tourists to take photos. There's also a "24-hour Book Bar" transformed from an old diesel locomotive, with a rich collection of books and a tranquil atmosphere, making it a great place for reading and relaxation. After leaving the Liuzhou Industrial Museum, my heart remained stirred for a long time. This visit not only allowed me to appreciate Liuzhou's unique industrial culture but also made me feel the charm and vitality of this city.
