Local villages staged a grand street parade

From the lion dance and drum beating to traditional Chinese opera figures and dragon dancing, the performances created a festive atmosphere of joy and celebration. The time-honored Shehuo performance is a tradition of a thanksgiving ritual for the gods. It has recently regained popularity in Chinese towns and villages as more people celebrate the Spring Festival in traditional ways.
