Liupanshui + Guiyang 5 Days 4 Nights Itinerary (part 2)||| 【DAY 2】Wumeng Grassland - Yeyuhai Scenic Area - Liupanshui 🌅Wumeng Grassland: On the second day of the trip, if you want to see the sunrise, you can go to the Guanfotai (navigate to Wumeng Grassland Sea of Clouds) early in the morning. If you don't want to see the sunrise, you can follow this route: After breakfast, navigate directly to Wumeng Grassland Parking Lot No. 2, walk back from Gate No. 2, passing through Baicaoping - Guanfotai - Shifang Yunshe/Dahaizi + Ranch Arch (you can stop by the homestay to pack your luggage and check out) - Tianchi Scenic Area - Exit from Gate No. 1. This route does not retrace the steps and is convenient for getting on the highway on the return journey. 🚂Yeyuhai Small Train: Departing from Wumeng Grassland, arrive at Yeyuhai Scenic Area at noon. Yeyuhai consists of three attractions: Yejiping, Yushe National Forest Park, and Haiping Yi Town. The key point is to navigate to the Haiping Small Train Terminal (Haiping Parking Lot) first and buy tickets. The train schedule can be checked on the Yeyuhai WeChat public account, with departures every hour. It is recommended to check the schedule in advance to avoid missing the train. Tickets are easy to buy during the off-season, but during holidays, more time is needed to ensure availability. Ticket prices: 80 RMB for adults one way, 40 RMB for children, 20% discount for seniors over 60 and teachers. It is recommended to buy a one-way ticket first, and you can buy a return ticket at the Linhai Xueyuan Station. 🍲Haiping Yi Town: After buying the train ticket (the station staff will ask you to enter the station half an hour in advance, but 15 minutes is enough to walk up), you can explore Haiping Yi Town while waiting for the train. The town is small, mainly consisting of commercial shops, and you can have lunch here. 🌄Yushe National Forest Park: When the time is right, take the small train up the mountain, which takes about 30 minutes to reach the Linhai Xueyuan Station at the top. This is Yushe National Forest Park, featuring alpine meadows. After visiting Wumeng Grassland, you might find this place average. After strolling around, you can go down the mountain. Since the route is the same, it is recommended to take the small train up and the sightseeing bus (25 RMB/person) down. There are also local villagers offering private car services for 80 RMB per car after bargaining, which allows you to stop anytime for sightseeing and photos (unlike the sightseeing bus). You can choose according to your preference. 🚗Yejiping: After descending the mountain, you can choose to go to Yejiping, but since it mainly features artificial flower fields and requires an additional ticket, it is recommended to skip this attraction and drive directly back to Liupanshui city. 🏙️Liupanshui City: Back in the city, you can visit Shuicheng Ancient Town in the evening to conclude the day's journey perfectly. 📸To be continued...
