You can see the subway entrance as soon as you walk out of the hotel door. The transportation is super convenient. It really provides a perfect starting point for exploring Lisbon. Finally arrived at the Marquis of Pombal Hotel, ended a tiring flight journey, and quickly checked in. The front desk was efficient and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which made a good impression from the start. The hotel's design combines sophistication and modernity, with unique floor-to-ceiling paintings on the walls. It is worthy of being located on Avenida da Liberdade, giving me a tasteful artistic experience! Each room has a clever Lisbon theme decoration, which makes me feel as if I am in a city story where ancient and modern are intertwined from the moment I check in. 🏠💤Room experience The room was a good size, modern, clean and comfortable, the bed was very good and gave me a great rest after all the travelling. The room also had an iPod dock and flat screen TV which was very convenient! Although we stayed in a superior room, all the facilities in the room worked well, especially the WIFI, which connected without any pressure. Also, although the hotel is located on a busy street, the room was surprisingly quiet which was enjoyable. The breakfast is also very good, with a wide variety of choices, and it doesn't feel monotonous even after eating it for several mornings. The surrounding area must be a paradise for food! Draw back the curtains to overlook the beautiful green avenue below, and it only takes half an hour to stroll to the river. 🏞️If you like shopping, there are many high-end designer stores nearby; for foodies, there is no shortage of choices, such as "Casa Nepalesa". Whether it's the ancient streets of Alfama or the bustling scene of Lisbon's Commerce Square, it's just a short walk away. I really think that the Marquis of Pombal Hotel has an excellent location and considerate service, which adds a lot to the trip. If I have the chance, I will definitely come back to this hotel!
