Best 360° secret view of Lisbon

If you are not the type to follow mainstream, overdone tourist spots, this one is for you. Avoid the crowds and get 360° panoramatic view of beautiful Lisbon. Hidden in Graça, just next to the famous Miradouro do Graça, stands the convent you must visit. Built in 13th century Igreja da Graça de Lisboa. Step inside, not thru the usual entrance for sunday mass but the one just next to it, close to the café Esplanada. Buy the ticket for 5€ per person at the register, no need to have a reservation. This ticket includes entrance to the historical exhibition inside the church, the upper choir, entrance to the rooftop and drink of your choice. They offer wine, ginjinha and other alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. After you check out the amazing exhibition of tiles painted with motives of historical events from portuguese history, take the stairs up to the rooftop. Show your ticket to the staff and ask for your beverage. You will get amazing view of the atrium garden. But don't stop here! Follow the signs "miradouro" or "terraço", to the belltower and squeeze thru the tight alley. Fyi This is not the best location for people with mobility issues. You have reached your destination. Your very own private balcony of Lisbon with perfect view of São Jorge castle and on clear days, the bridge of 25th April. Everytime I visited, there was maybe one-two other people beside me. It is so peaceful. Especially after rain, with rays shining thru the clouds, and wet marble glistering in the sun. Use the binaculars for 1€ to spy on people's windows. Don't forget to bring your glass back to the staff, don't leave it on the balcony! Opening hours: 9:30-19h (last admission 18:30 but sometimes they close earlier, so don't come too last minute) Price: adult 5€, kid 3€, kid under 6y for free Address: Igreja da Graça, Largo da Graça What to eat after: walk 13min to Cervejaria Ramiro for authentic seafood, very traditional restaurant with mostly locals. For fridays and weekend make a reservation. Av. Alm. Reis 1 H, 1150-007 If you feel more like asian food, Lisbon (and Portugal in general) has big community of chinese immigrants. My favourite restaurant for noodle soups is Da Wanmian. Big bowl of noodle. Authentic chinese food, not westernized. Very lowkey, don't expect luxury, but the noodle broth hits hard. They only accept cash or wechat pay. I recommend the liver noodle soup. Prices are around 6€ per dish. Calçada da Mouraria 14, 1100-363 (8min by walk)
