Lincoln: Most underated medieval town in England

#getgoing2025 Lincoln, a small town in east Midlands, is the most underated medieval town in England. Due to far away from major tourist attractions, Lincoln is not crowded with tourists. However it has rich history and heritage. I like walking up to the small hill along Steep Hill, discovering a number of independent shops in medieval lovely houses, and finally get to the enormous Linclon Cathedral, once the tallest building in England for hundreds of years, and also visit the Lincoln castle and walk on its castle wall.
