Lilydale Falls

#australiatrip Excellent nature walk. Close to the town. The trail going to the falls is not very far. Kids friendly with playground and toilet. Shed, few picnic and BBQ table for everyone to use. The road going inside is not a two way street so be mindful of the other vehicle along the way to the parking lot. Hiking shoes is highly recommended when walking the trail. Walking stick can be helpful during wet season. No sign that you are not allowed to swim but do it at your own risk. There is also an unused/abandon train track within the water falls park worthy of exploring. Just be mindful of the flora and fauna of the place. Good place to rest from a long drive passing through Golconda road. An overnight camping is allowed.
