Sitting on the bench by the pool, all you can hear is the babbling water and your own breath; the daytime clamor has long been filtered away completely. The copper bell at the eaves occasionally brushed by the wind rings out a clear, tinkling sound, as if it can penetrate time and space, bringing peace to the soul. The master bedroom you stay in is called “Cloud Watching,” with comfortable Italian latex pillows, a Bluetooth speaker playing Naxi ancient music, and thoughtfully prepared rose petals🌹 beside the bathtub. Lying on the window seat, watching the starry sky hang low outside, the night in Lijiang can be so serene and full. Tonight, the soul has finally found its resting place.
