It is less crowded than the other two ancient towns. It is similar to Lijiang Old Town, but less commercialized. You can also enjoy a horse ride around the ancient town. 🐴 💙 Baisha Ancient Town The birthplace and ancient capital of the Naxi people, also known as Lijiang Old Town 20 years ago. It is the closest of the three ancient towns to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. You can see the snow-capped mountain from any alley or path. 🏔 It is the most primitive of the three ancient towns, with many original residents, so you can experience the original Lijiang. 🚎 Transportation: 1⃣ Self-driving: Dayan to Shuhe is about 7–8 km, Shuhe to Baisha is about 3–4 km. 2⃣ Bus: There are regular buses and the "Baisha Ancient Town Tourist Line" which runs between the three attractions.
