Sitting around the stove and brewing tea in winter, the warmth melts away the fatigue of the journey. For northerners, underfloor heating is a great blessing, especially in Lijiang in winter, where such thoughtful design is particularly heartwarming. At noon, we borrowed a bamboo basket from the homestay and went to Zhongyi Market to buy vegetables, then returned to cook lunch with the owner.
