Baisha Ancient Town(白沙古镇)

Baisha Ancient Town, about 10km away from Lijiang Old Town, is the oldest town in the 3 towns of Lijiang. It's famous for its Sifangjie, which was also origin of Suhe Old Town and Lijiang Old Town. I like this Baisha Ancient Town. On one hand, it's still very original, not too commercialized, and the viligers are still living there, and not too many visitors. Some we can still have a chance to get to know their lifestyle. On the other hand, it's so closed to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It feels like the snow mountain is the guide for the old town. Quite a chilled place. But nowadays, more and more mordern shops, hostels are coming into the area.
