Mount Ijen and Mount Bromo

This is from my trip last year to East Java Province in Indonesia, where I traveled all the way, departing after 1 AM, to witness the legendary volcanoes. Mount Ijen and Mount Bromo, the twin jewels of volcanoes on Java Island, each possess their unique charm. Mount Ijen, under the night sky, attracts adventurers with its blue flames, like a mysterious signal light in nature. Mount Bromo greets early-rising visitors with its spectacular sunrise in the morning, with fresh air and mist swirling around. Around Mount Ijen, tough plants adapted to volcanic soil thrive, while the grasslands and forests of Mount Bromo provide a home for a variety of wildlife. Lake Kawah Ijen, the neighbor of Mount Ijen, with its emerald-green waters and the mystery shaped by volcanic activity, becomes a treasure in the hearts of explorers. These two volcanoes, in their own ways, tell the story of nature's power and beauty. The air is filled with the smell of sulfur, and the ground is covered with the yellow of sulfur. Trees and grasses still stubbornly survive in such harsh conditions, which can't help but make one marvel at the tenacity and adaptability of life in nature. Even the small grasses in this harsh environment are a natural wonder.
