I went to Bipenggou a few days ago. It's been really cold these days, so make sure you bring the right clothes 😭😭 I'm just being honest, sisters 😭! 📣 I read a lot of guides online before I went, and the more I read, the more confused I got. I had no idea if they were useful or not 😨 When I got to Bipenggou, I found it was nothing like what I read online! Today, I'm going to share some useful tips (take notes 🥰) -- 📍Location: No. 55 Zhuangfang Village, Putou Town, Li County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province 🔸Altitude: 2,000–5,000 meters, the highest altitude in the tourist area is less than 4,000 meters (2,000 meters at the entrance to 3,840 meters at Swallow's Nest) 🔸Best time to visit: Late October to February 🔸Opening hours: 8:30–17:00 (last entry at 15:00) -- Bipenggou weather in October: ☀Daytime: 6–19°C 🌙Night: 0–6°C -- Bipenggou weather in November: ☀Daytime: 3–14°C 🌙Night: -5–6°C -- ☁️Clothing suggestions: 👉The temperature in Bipenggou is just right, so you don't need to wear thick clothes! 👉It gets hot in the sun, but cold without it 🥶 👉I suggest you wear a thick coat that you can take off easily! 🧣Clothes: Thick coat, down jacket, or windbreaker -- 🏠Accommodation: Three options: ❶Li County: There are many places to stay in the county, and it's convenient for food. ❷Bipenggou Scenic Area: There is a hotel in the scenic area, and you can drive in. The hotel includes scenic area tickets and sightseeing bus tickets, but it's expensive! ❸Guer Valley: There are mature hot spring hotels with indoor and outdoor hot springs. It's amazing to soak in the hot spring while watching the snow and red leaves! You can also enjoy the hot spring without staying overnight. We stayed here❗️ -- ✅Travel tips: 1️⃣The scenic area opens at 8:30 am. We caught the first bus, so the earlier you enter the scenic area, the better! The sunlight is not so good in the afternoon. - 2️⃣There are restaurants and drinks in the scenic area, and the prices are moderate. Gou 3577 Coffee (super large window view! On the second floor of the Moon Lake Visitor Center, average price 30) - 3️⃣You can walk or take an electric car to Panyang Lake. You must take the electric car!
