You can take a train to Kaili and then a taxi to 西江千户苗寨 (180rmb) and stay at a hotel there in the middle of everything for less than 200/night. The place is not too big but it’s beautiful, you can walk and take buses that go all around, you gotta buy a ticket at the entrance that allows you 4 rides and it costs 20rmb. Hotel: I stayed at Qianheshun, a very nice and cozy place! Eat the local snacks and food, there are restaurants all around. There is a coffee shop, you just gotta find it!
