Colorful Life in Fryslân🇳🇱🌺💖

I am now studying in the northern Netherlands, a city called Leeuwarden in the state of Fryslân. Here people have their own language called Frysian. They have unique flags with heart-like shapes, but they are actually pompeblêd, which is a water lily leaf. I think their state flag is so beautiful and unique. Here I will share my favorite food here! 🥧English Pieman Bakery🧡 I always go to the Friday’s farmers market to have the best English pie I’ve ever had! They have all kinds of flavors, including vegetarian and vegan. I’ve tried out the four flavors, which are spinach, Indian, Mexican, and seasonal specialty☺️ 🍔Double B Burger & Bar🍻 They have the best burger!!! I want to eat it again. The vegan burger was amazing and full of ingredients, so it’s very fulfilling. The price is reasonable as well. One burger is about €10, and I used the €5 gift card I got from an event on that day, which makes it even cheaper🤩 🥖Bakkerij Tromp🥐 They have so much freshly baked bread with affordable price! I recommend people who have a big family go there to buy bread 🥖 ⚓️Shanty Festival Leeuwarden⛵️ I’m so lucky to participate in that event. On that day, there are many people from a choir singing amazing sailor songs back in the day. It really brings you back in the history to take a glance at the past memories of the Netherlands. It’s a very unique experience. 🍓Oogstfeest Harvesting Party👩🏻🌾 📍Snakkerburen This is the best community! They have community garden, organic fruit and vegetables everywhere. People sell their self-grown fruit and vegetables. I bought beetroots, apples, oranges, and strawberries. 🌲SPAR City Leeuwarden🥙 Every time I don’t want to cook, I go to this convenience store to check out some food to eat. Sometimes they will have 35% off discount for you to buy. They have a variety of options with cheap prices👍🏼 ⛪️Jacobijnerkerk💟 Lastly, if you want to visit an ancient church, you should go to Jacobijnerkerk. As soon as you walk into it, you’ll feel a sacred energy because it’s quiet and the interior design is so sublime.
