Finally I saw the beautiful Antelope Canyon with my own eyes! I had only seen photos of it before, but this time, seeing this magnificent canyon up close with my own eyes and touching the surrounding rock walls and gravel with my hands, it felt unreal. Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in northern Arizona, USA. The sudden increase in rainfall brought by the monsoon caused flash floods, which eventually eroded the sandstone to form a unique canyon landscape. Currently, Antelope Canyon belongs to the Navajo Reservation. If you want to go there, you must first apply online and purchase tickets, or participate in a local one-day tour. My feeling after visiting Antelope Canyon is that it is a must-visit attraction in my lifetime. The unique canyon terrain is really spectacular, especially being able to actually walk into the center of the canyon, touch the special landscape formed by water erosion with your own hands, and listen to the guide talk about the relevant history and reasons.
