Musée Carnavalet - Histoire de Paris (Carnavalet Museum - History of Paris) 📜🎨 This museum might seem unassuming from the outside, but wow, it's huge inside! I almost got a little lost exploring it all. The collection is wonderfully diverse, covering the rich history of Paris through various artifacts and exhibits. I heard that in summer, their cafe is super popular, with seating extending into a charming, plant-filled courtyard. It sounds like such an atmospheric place to dine! 2. Maison de Victor Hugo (Victor Hugo's House) ✍️🏡 Another absolute must-see for me was the Maison de Victor Hugo, the former residence of the literary giant himself. It's so conveniently located right next to the beautiful Place des Vosges in the Marais. The old house is exquisitely furnished, and you can really feel the opulent home environment of a wealthy Parisian family from his era. Plus, they have so many portraits of Hugo from different stages of his life, which was a unique glimpse into his personal journey. The café in the backyard also looked lovely.
