[Cebu🇵🇭] A relaxing day on an island with nothing in it🤍

Caohagan Island is a tiny island about the size of the Tokyo Dome. It's about a 40-minute boat ride from Cebu Island. Apparently, about 700 people live on this tiny island. And what's more, the owner of the island is Japanese! He even wrote a book about it, describing it as a lush island with nothing. Here are some ways to spend your time on this lovely, deserted island. 1. Relaxing in the shade with the dogs (Photos 1, 4, 5) There were dogs all over the small island. I took a leisurely nap under a covered bench in the middle of the day. The bench was Instagrammable and so lovely. I was enchanted by the movie-like atmosphere. Just relaxing and gazing out at the ocean with the dogs was a great way to unwind from the daily fatigue. I was so happy just spending time daydreaming. 2. Taking photos on the crystal-clear beach (Photos 2, 3, 6) The island is surrounded by relatively shallow waters, and the white sand makes for a distinctively clear beach. This beach is simply stunning. You can enjoy taking photogenic photos with friends, family, or your significant other. 🙆♀️ You can also snorkel in slightly deeper waters! I saw some colorful and adorable starfish. ③ Exploring the island (Photos 7 and 8) It's a small island, but it's a place where you can really feel the locals' way of life. There's nothing, but that's what makes it beautiful. But just when you think there's nothing, there are photogenic spots scattered throughout, making even a stroll exciting. There were many boats docked on the back side of the island, and locals were maintaining them. Everyone is so nice, so I recommend interacting with the islanders. 🤍 ④ Barbecue on the Sea (Photo 9) You can get to Caohagan Island on an island hopping tour, and some plans include a barbecue on the sea. Your guide will have freshly caught shellfish, so you can negotiate the price and choose the ones you like. Enjoying shellfish while being rocked by the sea and looking out at the island was amazing! Caohagan Island has many charms. Be sure to check it out and visit! ✈︎---------------------------------------------✈︎ 📍: Caohagan Island, Cebu 📸: Canon EOS 5D Mark Ⅳ ✈︎---------------------------------------------✈︎ #TravelGuide #Philippines #PhilippineTravel #PhilippinesTourism #Cebu #CebuIsland #CebuIslandTrip #CebuIslandTour #CaohaganIsland

Caohagan Island

This ocean journey is an unmissable activity in Cebu. I opted for a one-day tour of Nalusuan Island and Hilutungan Island. Starting in Mactan, you can go snorkeling in Hilutungan Island to admire the beautiful corals and tropical fish. Next, you can enjoy Filipino-style dishes from a seaside buffet for lunch. With such a magnificent seascape and tasty BBQ, this is no place for diets!
