I got lost in Zhuge Bagua Village

I found Zhuge Bagua Village on the map at noon and decided to drive there to take a look. The highlight of Zhuge Village is the Yin-Yang Tai Chi shaped pool in the center of the village, and the entire village is constructed according to the Bagua layout. Most villagers have the surname Zhuge, claiming to be descendants of Zhuge Liang, so naturally, there is a temple dedicated to him. Zhuge Liang is revered by the people, and I think it's because of his loyalty, diligence, and integrity. Objectively speaking, Zhuge Liang was in charge of the military affairs of the Shu state and was not good at civil administration. His six expeditions to Qishan also imposed heavy corvée and military service on the common people, but it seems that the people do not mind these. I suddenly remembered the distribution principle of 'efficiency first, with due consideration to fairness' proposed under the market economy system. Perhaps in the traditional Chinese social moral system, what is more advocated is 'fairness first, with due consideration to efficiency'. The main attractions of Zhuge Bagua Village include Zhong Pool, the Prime Minister's Temple, Dagong Hall, and the Hundred Herbs Ecology Garden, etc. Zhong Pool is the central landmark of the entire village, with eight alleys extending in all directions, leading directly to eight tall earth mounds outside the village, resembling a Bagua diagram from above. The alleys give rise to many transverse interconnected narrow lanes, with thousands of households and many ancient residential buildings scattered like stars in the sky. Zhuge Bagua Village has undulating terrain, with ancient buildings closely packed and stretching continuously. Residential houses and temples are scattered at different heights, with alleys and lanes crisscrossing, and secluded paths winding through them. Stone carvings, brick carvings, and wood carvings are ingeniously conceived and exquisitely crafted. White walls and grey tiles, flying eaves and upturned corners, small courtyards with corridors, rocks and flowers, and bamboo groves all display the graceful charm of the Suzhou style. The Prime Minister's Temple is majestic and spectacular. The philosophy of 'Admonitions to My Son' enlightens people, and its noble spirit nurtures them.
