Wengji No. 80 Guesthouse: Located in the center of the village, the owner provides round-trip transportation from the village entrance. There's a small balcony on the second floor, perfect for sunbathing after exploring (p6). The owner owns his own tea plantation, tea factory, restaurant, and fishpond. He even took us to see his tea factory by tricycle, constantly offering tea, wild chestnuts🌰, and wild guavas. The guesthouse is clean, and the owner's hospitality is a huge plus. 2️⃣ About Food 🥘 Manghong Qiuyin Restaurant: A must-try! Their mint-fried pork ribs and tea-fried beef are delicious specialties. I waited an hour after arriving around 7 PM. Wengji Roasted Chicken: Also worth trying. It's a stall, not a shop. Just ask around the village. Half a chicken costs 70 yuan, and they only make 10 a day. They open in the afternoon, so if you go late, they'll be sold out. Nuogan No. 100 Restaurant: Their signature dishes are sticky rice and roasted chicken. The sticky rice set meal is good, but the roasted chicken is just average. It's located in the heart of Nuogan Village. 3️⃣ Cafes ☕ Manghong Traveler's Banana: (Photos 2-3) The view from the window is like a painting, perfect for relaxing and spending a quiet afternoon. Wengji'er's Coffee: 🥑 The avocado coffee is delicious. The owner is a handsome young man ☺️ who will let you try a sip of the avocado milkshake before adding the coffee. In addition, you can try the roasted bananas and roasted corn in the village; they are very local specialties. The roasted bananas are soft and chewy.
