📍Wat Ban Luk Lamphun, an ancient temple with hidden beauty.

Not far from Lamphun city, there is a village community with Wat Ban Luk. This temple was built in 1782. Legend has it that the ruler of Hariphunchai led an army to attack the enemy in Chiang Tung, Burma. When he was victorious, he drove the people from Yong back to Hariphunchai. There was an unnamed monk who lived in a temple called "Wat Ban Luk" in Yong. This monk had magical knowledge and established a temple north of Hariphunchai to serve as a front line to meet the enemy who came to attack Hariphunchai. Behind the chapel is a very old and beautiful Tripitaka Hall or Dharma Hall. Inside is also a museum. On the upper floor is a dhamma chest containing palm-leaf manuscripts and Sa paper stamps, which are ancient dhamma chests that are still in the most complete condition.
