Wari Onsen

I had the opportunity to soak in the natural mineral waters and enjoy the trains at Wari Onsen at Sri Buaban. It's a truly excellent private onsen. The large mineral bath can accommodate up to four people, and it's a private room with a view of the trains arriving and departing from Chiang Mai Station. The water temperature is around 40 degrees Celsius. After a while, the staff will bring you a welcome drink: iced butterfly pea and lemon juice. It's so delicious you'll want a big glass. Everything is provided, including disposable underwear, sarongs, towels, robes, small and large towels, toiletries, body lotion, a hair dryer, drinking water, and a bag for wet clothes. Just come with nothing on. Each onsen is designated for a 15-minute time period, followed by a cold shower. You can rest for a while before the next soak. You can order drip coffee to sip while soaking in the mineral water. I loved the shady atmosphere, the privacy, and the attentive staff.
