Location: Wat Phra That Doi Phra Chan, Mae Tha District, Lampang Province How to get there: Private car or you can travel by train or bus and then take a car. However, private car is the most convenient. Atmosphere: The temple is located on a mountain. You have to park your car downstairs and there will be a shuttle service from downstairs (the temple does not allow private cars to go up by yourself due to the rain). The temple does not charge a fare, but donations are according to your faith. Women should dress appropriately. If you accidentally wear shorts, the temple provides a sarong for you to borrow for neatness. Highlight: Japanese-style Daibutsu with a torii gate and Totoro on top, which has an atmosphere similar to Japan. It is worth visiting and paying homage at least once.
