Meditation Center of Luang Pho Kasem Khemako

Anyone who has been to Lampang or lives in Lampang will know the name of Luang Pho Kasem very well because he was a monk who practiced Vipassana meditation with a remarkable history. He was respected and believed in by people all over the country, including foreigners who had learned about his history. They also came to pay homage to Luang Pho Kasem for good luck. Luang Pho Kasem passed away on January 15, 1996. This meditation center was built as a memorial to Luang Pho Kasem. It is an important place for Lampang Province. It is a place where both Thai and foreign tourists who come to Lampang Province must come to pay homage to the large statue of Luang Pho Kasem that can be seen from the road. Inside, there is a life-sized wax statue of Luang Pho Kasem. His remains are kept in a glass coffin inside the Luang Pho Kasem Khemako meditation center, Trailak Cemetery.
