Pagsanjan Falls!!!

Sharing our trip to Pagsanjan falls this weekend. ✨ Two reasons why I had 2nd thoughts in going to Pagsanjan Falls and my realizations nung nakapunta na ako. 1) I thought it’s overpriced. Boat ride is 1,350 per head. Kala ko di sulit. Sa isip ko, luh ang mahal. Sa ibang falls, mura lang naman. Realization when we finally tried it: napaisip ako, enough ba talaga ang 1,350 per head? The view going to the Pagsanjan falls is astonishing! Parang nasa jurassic world mga te! Unli falls din on the way. Nakailang “Wow” “Ang Gandaaaaa” “Grabeeeee” kami. Haha. I didn’t expect na ganun pala kaganda yung boatride papunta. Chasing the rapids was also a thrilling experience! Nakakakaba pero exciting! And then, the Main event, the Pagsanjan falls itself! I’ve never seen a falls in person na ganun kalakas ang bagsak ng tubig. Then, its surroundings is so lush! When I finally saw it, I was in awe! 😳 Parang wala ako earth. Haha. You can also ride a balsa going to the Devil’s cave just behind the waterfalls. Syempre, we also tried it. Walang additional fee pero grabe, nakakakaba. Haha. Hahaha) Kung pupunta kayo, try nyo. Kakaiba syang experience! Aside from the view, I think ang main reason bakit sya sulit is that Mga sis, buwis buhay pala sya para sa mga bangkero. Habang papalapit sa falls, pataas ng pataas ng river. And there are alot of instances na need bumaba ng mga bangkero to manually pull our boats dahil mabato. And note na madulas yung mga bato. Nakwento pa ni kuyang bangkero (Sorry I’m not good with names. Nakalimutan ko kaagad. Haha) na 900+ pala silang bangkero at since pandemic umunti ang turista, and til now, swerte na sila na makaisang byahe ng bangka sa isang buwan. 2) Wala akong masyado makitang FB posts or youtube videos on how to commute paPagsanjan. Yung iba pa, ibang way since pwedeng trekking with other nearby falls like Hulugan. So, this is how to get there: a) If you are from Manila, Ride a bus from Buendia, Cubao or PITX going to Sta. Cruz. Then, from Terminal sa Sta. Cruz, tawid lang kayo then pwede na kayo maghintay ng jeep going to Pagsanjan. b) If from San Pablo, sakay ka ng jeep going to Sta. Cruz (sa may Si Cristina) then, baba ka sa bayan ng Sta. Cruz, then may dumadaan na dun na jeep paPagsanjan. P.S. If you are looking for a place to stay in Pagsanjan, where you can relax and clear your mind you may check out Casa Marina. Super recommended when it comes to service, nakarest talaga kami ng ayos kasi tahimik sa place plus ang daming instagrammable spots. They also assisted us for the boatride which is from Kainan sa Tabing Ilog (less than a minute walk from Casa Marina) ☺️ Notes: - If masyadong maulan and mataas na masyado ang tubig, halfway lang po #skiadventure #staycation #themepark #beachlife
