Bridge across time, Satun Province

#Songkran2024Travel One of the Satun Geoparks that has just been announced as a Global Geopark, making Satun Province and Thailand more widely known to the world. The entrance fee for Thai adults is 20 baht and children 10 baht. The special thing about this bridge across time is that there are 2 rock cliffs colliding: red sandstone from the Cambrian period and gray limestone from the Ordovician period, which was formed by the fault of the crust. The Mu Ko Phet National Park has therefore built a bridge along the cliff as a nature study trail, approximately 1 kilometer long. The point where the two rocks connect is approximately in the middle of the bridge, so it is like we have crossed time from one era to another. However, many tourists did not walk to that point, perhaps because they were lazy or did not know that the path ahead was beautiful, so many people just took pictures with the "Mu Ko Phet National Park" sign and the "Bridge across Time" sign at the entrance to the bridge.
