#cherryblossom25 After chasing all the weeping cherry blossom spots across Kyoto, the one that surprised me the most — was actually this quiet, lowkey Ōishi Shrine! I totally underestimated it 😂 I wore a puffy floral dress that day — honestly felt like a pink balloon floating around, haha. 🌸 "Ōishi Sakura" Compared to the pink weeping sakura at Rokkakudō, the blossoms here are more white-toned, giving off a cleaner, more elegant vibe. When they hit full bloom, they cascade down like a pink waterfall ✨ Paired with the traditional shrine buildings and lanterns, and with petals swirling in the wind — the whole scene felt straight out of a destiny-themed anime 😭✨ 🗓️ Best Timing: As of April 3rd, it's just starting the blizzard (petal-falling) phase. You have about 2-3 days to catch it at its absolute peak — hurry! 🌟 Why I Recommend It: Compared to Kyoto’s other famous weeping sakura spots, Ōishi Shrine is way better for portrait shots!
