[Kyoto] Visit Mibu-dera Temple, which has ties to the Shinsengumi

Mibu-dera Temple Founded in 991, this is the head temple of the Ritsu sect! Since the Shinsengumi were stationed in Mibu, Kyoto, Mibu-dera Temple was used as a training ground for the Shinsengumi. The Mibuzuka, located on the east side of the temple grounds, enshrines 11 Shinsengumi members. The Mibuzuka (the graves of the Shinsengumi members) and the Mibu-dera Historical Archives are open from 9:00am to 4:00pm, and the admission fee is 300 yen for adults and 100 yen for elementary, middle and high school students.
