Ginkakuji Temple contrasts with the glittering Kinkakuji Temple. Its official name is Higashiyama Jisho-ji Temple, but some people who see it for the first time may think, "Huh? Isn't it silver?" I'm one of them 😅 I'm not sure why it's not silver, but I think it's wonderful because of its appearance that exudes the unique Japanese "wabi-sabi" atmosphere 😊 The Kogetsudai and Ginsanda made of white sand combine with the austere Ginkakuji Temple to create a distinctive view ♪ I also think the garden scenery of Ginkakuji Temple, Togudo Hall, and Kinkyoike Pond are magnificent.
