Hiroshima-Kyoto-Osaka Trip (4) One-day Tour in Kyoto

Couldn't wait, so we ordered take-out matcha and matcha ice cream cone and headed to Kinkaku-ji! You can spend about 1.5 hours at Kinkaku-ji, even faster if you skip the souvenir shop . Then immediately rushed to Ginkaku-ji, there's a direct bus. Compared to Kinkaku-ji, Ginkaku-ji looks more modest (when Ashikaga Yoshimasa built it, he was out of money, yet dared to imitate Kinkaku-ji, not very wise), but the moss at Ginkaku-ji is excellent, and the entrance fee is cheaper, isn't this much better than Saiho-ji ? Had lunch at a nearby restaurant called Little Bear. Afternoon: After lunch, continue to Nanzen-ji. The aqueduct at Nanzen-ji is very beautiful, reminiscent of ancient Roman aqueducts, and the small gardens are also very nice. Moreover, if you don't visit the exhibitions and just stroll outside, there's no entrance fee. Finished touring at 3:50, still had time to visit Kiyomizu-dera. It's said that the fortunes at Kiyomizu-dera are quite accurate, and the stage is very spectacular. Evening: The last stop is Kamogawa. Took a direct bus to Sanjo Bridge, then strolled back to Shijo Bridge. The riverside is very cool and the scenery is nice. Finally, found a restaurant by chance at Hanamikoji for dinner, a bit pricey. Returned to the hotel around 22:00. 💗Other tips: Don't look for restaurants recommended by various app authors! Either there's a queue, or you need a reservation, or it's expensive! Just go with the flow for meals! At least there's no psychological burden.
