Daigo-ji Temple

Cherry blossoms haven't bloomed yet, so I went to Daigo-ji Temple early. It's about a 20-minute subway ride from Kyoto Shijo. There's a supermarket near the subway exit where you can buy some snacks. There are signs along the way, and it's about a 10-minute walk to Daigo-ji Temple. I imagine it would be really beautiful when the flowers are in full bloom. The temple is divided into Upper Daigo and Lower Daigo. If you have more time, you can explore more. I think Daigo-ji Temple is a great place to see cherry blossoms. There are fewer people and the flowers are beautiful, though it's a bit far. But it's worth it.
