Eat in Kwun Tong | House FiftyEight | A spacious western restaurant with fun and food

Waffles and her bestie had a meal together in Kwun Tong and chose a western restaurant that had just opened. The elevator door opened, wow! The restaurant is not only a place to eat, but also a place to have fun. It has dart machines and billiard tables, etc. It is suitable for a group of boys to play. The restaurant is spacious, and the "paintings" on the wall add a touch of artistic atmosphere to the restaurant. I really like the booth next to the restaurant. It is spacious and comfortable for four people to sit. Next time, I will invite two more friends to have dinner and chat. Lunch starts from NT$98, including soup, rolls and drinks. Waffles and her friend both liked meal number 1, and because they wanted to try something different, they also ordered meal number 2. The two of them happily shared two lunches. There are two soup options. The waffle soup is corn cream soup, which is served very hot, with a smooth texture and corn kernels. However, the corn flavor could be stronger. Her bestie raved about her pumpkin soup, saying it not only looked good but also tasted delicious. The buns are not of the common style. They are white and look like peeled skin, but they are chewy and smoky when you bite them. After finishing the soup, I found that the shape of the tableware was very special. When it was time for the main course, the first dish served was the premium American Angus beef shank ($138). The eight-ounce beef shank was divided into two pieces, one for each of waffle and my bestie. The beef shank had a strong flavor and firm texture. The side dishes are not sloppy at all, including mashed potatoes, carrots, green melon, cherry tomatoes and mushrooms, making the nutrition more balanced. After finishing the beef shank, it was time for the all-day breakfast ($138). The plate was filled with a variety of ingredients, including New Zealand sausage, baked beans, black truffle scrambled eggs, thick-cut tomatoes, portobello mushrooms, hash browns, garden salad and toast. Even though they’ve been sitting there for a while, the toast and hash browns are still crispy, which is rare. The black truffle scrambled eggs were of excellent quality, the eggs were very tender and smooth. I paid an extra $22 to upgrade to the dessert of the day, orange chocolate mousse cake.
