Various new attractions in Colchis

📍Colchis Fountain The fountain is located in the central square of Kutaisi city center, decorated with 30 animal sculptures. These golden animal sculptures are enlarged versions of artifacts excavated from the Colchis lowlands. The most prominent animal sculptures are the two golden warhorses at the top, inspired by the warhorses of King Aeëtes of Colchis in Greek mythology. There is also a golden lion, an enlarged version of the golden lion artifact unearthed from the Alazani Valley. It is said that the artifacts date back to the 3rd century BC, and the originals are now housed in the National Museum of Tbilisi.
