If you go all the way through the park, you'll find the open-air bath. The river that flows along the way is also a hot spring! Steam rises from the river. There are also footbath spots everywhere. The open-air bath is spacious and has a great sense of openness, so you can enjoy it in the middle of nature. When I went there in late January, it was -3 degrees and there was snow falling, which was very fantastic. 📍Shirahata no Yu 🕰️8:00-23:00 💰Free It's right next to the Yubatake, and it's open until late, so it's perfect for a hot spring bath. It was very hot at 47 degrees (or more?), so I struggled for about 10 minutes to get in 🤣 My body warmed up in an instant. I remember going back to the hotel thinking that I might not need clothes even though it was below freezing outside.
