Sunrise, Morning Mist, and Full Moon at Xishan Maomaojing

Collecting sunrises and sunsets in the Spring City🌄 This time it's Xishan Maomaojing~ luckily saw the sunrise, morning mist, and full moon🌕 ⭐️Winter sunrises are even more romantic. Although it's hard to get up in winter and very cold, winter sunrises often come with lingering morning mist, creating a more poetic atmosphere. 📍Xishan Scenic Area Hani Village 🅿️There is a parking lot right in front of Hani Village, 10 yuan per car🚗 (the attendant starts charging as early as 6 a.m., which is a bit unreasonable) ⭐️It’s about 800 meters one way from Hani Village to Maomaojing Viewing Platform, a slow walk takes about 20 minutes. ⭐️You can also hike up from Chama Flower Street, but that takes 2-3 hours, so it’s best to start before 4 a.m. for a night climb~ 🕐Sunrise time: In December, sunrise in Kunming is between 7:48 and 7:50, so it’s recommended to start walking from Hani Village to Maomaojing at 7:10. Going too early means it’s very windy and cold up there; arriving about 20 minutes before sunrise is perfect to see the pink sky before sunrise🌌 ⚠️The road in Xishan is difficult to drive. It takes about half an hour to drive from the foot of the mountain to Hani Village, with many sharp turns.
