Due to time and ticket price premiums, I chose to take the high-speed train to Nanning East on Friday evening after work. You can ride an electric scooter to One Village Two Countries and Ruili Ancient City; there’s no traffic jam, about half an hour. The Great Buddha Temple and Mori Tropical Rainforest are on the other side; the Great Buddha Temple is also about half an hour by scooter. For Mori Tropical Rainforest, it’s recommended to take a taxi, but if the battery is enough, riding an electric scooter is also possible! In Ruili, I chose "Bendi Electric Scooter" 💰36 RMB/24 hours, delivered to your door. If the scooter runs out of power, you can ride it back to the shop to exchange it. Every attraction charges an entrance fee, and the distances between attractions are far. The most famous Ginkgo Village surprisingly has no direct shuttle... When choosing Tengchong Airport for flights, be very cautious. Even a little rain cancels flights, and the airport arranges free buses to Baoshan Airport, which takes more than two hours... What I miss most about Yunnan besides rice noodles is that plate of choy sum!
