From Kunming, we flew or took the train to Lijiang. This is an old city with ancient Chinese-style houses, small stone streets, and a crystal-clear river. There's also the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which has an amazing view. Finally, we went to Shangri-La, where we could experience nature and Tibetan culture. Driving a little further, we arrived in Shangri-La, a city known as heaven on earth! It has vast grasslands, cool weather, and the beautiful and peaceful Songzanlin Monastery.
