Asia's Largest Artificial Waterfall | Kunming Waterfall Park

Introduction: Kunming Waterfall Park, also known as Niulan River Waterfall Park, is located in the Shanshui New District in northern Kunming, Yunnan Province. It is the water inlet of the world-renowned Niulan River-Dianchi Lake Water Replenishment Project. Construction of the park began on March 1, 2013, and took nearly three years to complete. Kunming Waterfall Park is a comprehensive facility construction project that integrates multiple functions, including Kunming's urban drinking water channel, river regulation, urban flood control, landscape enhancement, and Dianchi Lake management. The waterfall park makes full use of the natural drop in the terrain of the Niulan River diversion to create an artificial waterfall about 12.5 meters high and about 400 meters wide. It is known as the largest artificial waterfall park in Asia.
