Panlong River

Panlong River is located in Kunming, Yunnan Province. The upper reaches of the river are called the Muyang River, which originates from the western slope of Liangwang Mountain in the northwest of Songming County. The river flows westward through Muyang, turns southwest, and then turns southeast to Ayingzi, where it joins the Lion Mountain and Cold Water River. It then turns southwest into the Songhuaba Reservoir, flows southwest through Guandu District, Wuhua District, and Panlong District in Kunming, and finally flows into Dianchi Lake near Fubao in Guandu District. The current state of the Panlong River is similar to that of the Limmat River in Zurich. It is one of the few water bodies in Kunming, with beautiful scenery and flowers on both sides, making it a great place for a stroll.
