Located on the west side of Qipanshan National Forest Park in Xishan District, Kunming, Sanjiacun Reservoir is about 20 km from downtown Kunming, a 30-minute drive. Upon entering Sanjiacun Reservoir, you will be greeted by the endless blue water. The deep lake reflects the clear "Kunming Blue" sky, and together with the green Qipanshan Mountain, they form a beautiful landscape painting. The metasequoia trees around the reservoir change colors with the seasons. In autumn and winter, the trees turn red, making the reservoir a popular photo spot. In late autumn, the metasequoia trees around Sanjiacun Reservoir turn red, and the surrounding forests are covered in colorful leaves. The scenery is picturesque. The mountains and forests are full of rich colors in the autumn wind, like a poem or painting. The nearby villages, such as Sanjiacun and Qipanshancun, blend the residential buildings with the natural landscape, creating an unadorned rural landscape painting. 💢Note: The reservoir is a drinking water source, and the protection measures are strict.
