InterContinental Kunming.

Stayed in the Executive Balcony Room at the InterContinental Kunming during the Qingming Festival. I saw mixed reviews about this hotel online, so here's my real experience. Check-in: We took a taxi to the east gate and found out it was the back door of the hotel. The hotel is quite large, and the lobby is very far from the east gate. The security guard enthusiastically contacted the concierge to pick us up from the east gate and take us to the lobby (p2). IHG Rewards Club members have a separate check-in room. The check-in process was very fast. We received two drink coupons and a welcome gift. Welcome fruit was delivered to our room every day (p1). The front desk staff personally showed us the way and took us to the concierge. The concierge took our luggage and took us to our room and gave us a brief introduction. Room: We were prepared for the old facilities before check-in. After check-in, we found that although the exterior was old, it did not affect our experience. The balcony (p3) has a side view of Dianchi Lake. The suites face Dianchi Lake. There are many mosquitoes in Yunnan at night, but the hotel has good mosquito control measures. There is also mosquito repellent in the room, so we did not feel uncomfortable at night.
