Kunming in April lets you roam in a sea of flowers

Living in the south, I often hear people talk about the spring-like Kunming, how it's a sea of flowers everywhere, and the scenery of Dianchi Lake is picturesque. I wonder, as a Southerner, what sea of flowers haven't I seen? So I came. In this blue and purple sea of Kunming, I would be heartbroken if anyone hasn't seen the Jacaranda.
