One of China's four famous towers, the Daguan Pavilion

Located on the beautiful shores of Dianchi Lake, there is a pavilion built during the Qing dynasty, which is the Daguan Pavilion. The Daguan Pavilion is a traditional Yunnan ancient building with a three-tiered cornice and a pointed top. Its plane is square, with terraces on all sides, facing the water on the south side. The terraces are surrounded by neatly cut limestone, with stone slabs on top, and the building is connected to the corridor on the west side. The Daguan Pavilion not only inherits the mainstream traditional architectural culture of China but also features Kunming's 'Five Inks' paintings and the wood carvings of the eaves purlin head, which are either elephant heads or floral patterns, adding a touch of local ethnic culture. The Daguan Pavilion is also famous for its long couplets, and in winter, there are many seagulls here. It is currently open for free, so friends who are interested, come and take a look.
