A Peaceful Day at Putuo Village

#traveldiaries I decided to take a break from the busy city life and visit Putuo Village in Kulai, Johor. I had heard so much about its serene environment and beautiful bamboo forest, so I was excited to see it for myself. The entrance to the village was marked by a colorful pathway. It was a perfect spot for taking photos, and I couldn’t resist snapping a few pictures. Walking further into the village, I came across the main temple. It was an impressive structure, housing the largest indoor statue of Guanyin in Southeast Asia. The atmosphere inside the temple was calm and peaceful. I spent some time there, turning prayer wheels and drinking holy mountain spring water, which is believed to bring good luck. Throughout the day, I felt a deep sense of tranquility. The village was not just a place of beauty but also a spiritual sanctuary. I saw many people participating in various Buddhist activities and celebrating festivals. It was heartwarming to see how the village preserved and promoted Buddhist culture. As the day came to an end, I took one last walk through the bamboo forest. The setting sun cast a golden glow on the trees, making the whole place look magical. I left Putuo Village feeling refreshed and at peace, grateful for the experience.
