#celebrateit Krakow, located in southern Poland, is a historic city that was once the capital of Poland. The old town, which is the centre, has become world famous since it was registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1978 as a historic district of Krakow. Speaking of Krakow's most popular tourist destination, it is "Wavel Castle", the residence of successive kings. The majestic appearance that has been towering on the hill on the southern outskirts of the old town since the 14th century is truly a royal castle.
