Komoro Kaikoen Park, Nagano

#cherryblossom25 Komoro Kaikoen is this gorgeous, slightly rugged park that feels like a well-kept secret. Built inside the old Komoro Castle grounds, it’s lower in elevation compared to many other famous spots, so the blooms come earlier and thicker. Ancient stone gates and crumbling walls are wrapped in pink, giving the place a slightly melancholic beauty — like nature gently reclaiming history. There’s even a tiny amusement park tucked inside, which gives the whole thing a quirky charm. I wandered through misty sakura tunnels and even got caught in a short spring rain, making the petals stick to the old stones — incredibly photogenic.
